Toy Box

Alan put all the dog's toys into a box. I put the toy box onto the floor so they could choose some toys to play with. So what does Waldo end up with? Nothing from the box. Instead it's back to good old Coke bottle.

Little Pisser

The dogs have been sleeping on the floor. The idea was: no more our bed for them. They've been so good. Notice the past tense I used. So what happened?

Nestle was sleeping on the new dog bed. Waldo was sleeping on the humongous pillow. So they spent the past few nights on their beds. Aww so good. Then one morning Nestle woke up and jumped onto our bed and instead of shooing her away (shame on me) I let her lay down. As soon as she got comfortable Waldo popped right up from his pillow, trotted over to the new dog bed, circled a couple of times, and then lay down.

I peeked over the side of our bed and there he was, so good, with his head propped up on the wall of the dog bed. So then I lay back down and that's when I heard it. The sound of him peeing. Yes that's right. He pissed on the new dog bed. PISSED ON IT! CLAIMED IT FOR HIS OWN. He's such a little pisser. Bastard!

Freaking Me Out

The dogs are sitting by the door staring out towards the hallway or the back door. They never do this. I don't know what they're looking at. They're freaking me out.

New Bed

We got a new bed for the dogs. Not a new flat one, but one with cushiony sides to lean up against. The old one fell apart when Nestle tried to dig a hole in it. The walls separated from the bed part and I kept saying to Alan to not throw it away because I was going to sew it back up. Alan got sick of waiting. And good thing too. Who knows when I would have been in the mood to sew it up.

Scary Green Ball

When Waldo was a puppy we got him that green ball you see in the background. It makes this giggle like noise that scares the crap out of Waldo. When he was a puppy it must have seemed like this big monstrous laughing thing. Now that he's all grown he is way bigger then that puny little ball but he's still scared of it. Whenever he walks towards it he has to run right as he's passing by it as if it would grab him otherwise. Silly dog.

Owner of Our Bed

Waldo's limp is almost gone. And he obviously feels great since he's back to jumping up and down off the bed as if he owned it. Never mind that he really shouldn't be on the bed unless I call him over. He just helps himself up, plops himself down, and falls asleep like he doesn't have a care in the world. And he's so damn cute he just gets away with it. Little bugger.

Peanut Butter

Left over peanut butter jar. Nestle is enjoying it so much. How did she get some on her face right between her eyes?

I didn't think Alan read this blog at all. But today as he lifted Waldo onto the bed he said "I'm his own personal elevator".

How's Waldo Doing

Well Waldo isn't walking normal yet but he has been putting more weight on his leg. So that's a good thing. And Alan has been spoiling him horribly. He put Waldo onto the bed with us to sleep for 2 nights in a row. And in the morning he puts him onto the floor. He has personal service. Alan is Waldo's own personal elevator. :-D

Chewing So Loud It Could Wake The Dead

Waldo was chewing on one of his new favorite toys. No more nasty stinky red and green cube for him. He chose a new favorite toy. It's this plastic tire thing. He was chewing soooo LOUD that he woke Alan up. (Alan who sleeps like the dead and will sleep through phone calls and banging on the door) Waldo must have known his chewing was the loudest most obnoxious noise ever because when I tried to take a picture to show his mighty drooly self he hid from the camera and guiltily stopped chewing.

Nestle Seems Fine

Nestle doesn't seem to be in pain. She was playing with her bumble bee today. She was laying there trying to pull all the stuffing out. So I kept taking her bee away from her and sticking it in the bee hive. That way she's pulling the bee out and not the stuffing.

Watch Nestle pulling out the bee.

*UPDATE* This is a quicktime movie Trixie. :)

Poor Nestle

Back to posting regularly I hope.

Poor little Nestle's tooth has gone missing.
