Nestle on the Couch

The dogs aren't allowed on the bed anymore. I mentioned that right? And I try and try to remember not to be tempted to let them back on. But I give in sometimes. Like last week. I didn't get enough sleep on the day of our prenatal class so when we got home I wanted to take a nap with Alan. But he wasn't tired and didn't feel like being a warm pillow to lean my back up against. So I thought maybe Nestle would be. So I called her up onto the bed and she was my pillow for my nap. :) She didn't move at all.
Then the next day Nestle was running around with a toy in her mouth. She jumped up onto the bed and instantly stilled with this look on her face like: shit! I'm not supposed to be up here. See I confused her. She's gotten the whole not being on the bed thing down and then I call her up and she's all confounded.
Well the dogs still sleep on the couch as you can see. Now I just need to get them to stay off the couch. Waldo has this habit of numbing on his toys, drooling all over them. And if he's on the couch he'll drool a big old wet spot onto it. So no more couch for them. He's so pigheaded though. I told him to get off the couch and dropped his toy onto the floor 6 times in a row and he kept repeatedly jumping up onto the couch again. He must have thought it was some game. I'll get him down. Just you wait.

Mama Dog acts a pillow every night. She just cuddles up. Since she is a smallish dog, it's perfect !
Couch DROOL. Ick. We don't let her have toys or bones on the couch because the drool is bad for the microfiber.
We could never teach her to stay off the furniture. Never. I just don't have that much time.
